I think most of the websites while registering (Sign up) our account in their sites they asks us to enter some code as it shows a distorted image like above. For example in Yahoo, G-Mail while we are registering a new e-mail account it asks. Some websites asks like this "Are you a human?". Then we have to type a code in box below it. Till now I observed lot of websites and just left it. While registering my friend's account (Who is newbie to internet) in yahoo he aked "Why to type that code?". Then I started to think "Why?". Now I got that answer by searching on google.

This usually ensures that only humans can enter the correct answer, because is difficult ( but not impossible! ) for machines to extract the letters and digits from the image. So finally what I concluded my self is that, to prevent spam websites uses that code.

New Feature "Scheduled Posting" in blogger

Blogger acquired a new feature to post your posts on a specific day when the day you specified. This is a great feature what I thought earlier. Because, if you have lot of new content to post in your blog, this idea works well to keep the track of visitors regularly. Suppose if you are writing a suspense thriller story posts in your blog per twice in a week. You can post the part of the story in a particular day. And remaining parts will be posted on the day you want to publish. Your visitors waits for the day of your post and they can view new post on correct regular intervals. This new feature of blogger can only be used if you log-in in draft page of blogger. So to experience the schedule posting and other soon to be added features in blogger you must log-in to http://draft.blogger.com instead of http://www.blogger.com.


To do this blow of the post editor you can see "Post Options". Click on it. Then in after a dropdown link you can see "Post date and time". There you need to specify the time of your post to be posted on a specified day.

Ten tips to keep your computer running smoothly:

1. Never, never, turn your computer off with the power switch until Windows has shut down.

3. Backup, backup, backup:

any data you cannot afford to lose to at least two separate physical drives. So backup data to floppies, Zip disks, CD-RWs etc.
The time to backup is when you create something you can't afford to lose. Don't wait until tomorrow.

4. Run Scandisk and Defragment at least once a month:

This will keep your hard drive healthy and prevent crashes.

Old Windows drivers can be found by booting into Safe Mode, then opening Control Panel/System/Devices and ridding your system of old drivers.

Or Your registry hierarchy gets unknown application values. This cause system registry may breaks down.

6. Do keep at least 100 MBs of your C:

If you use Windows Me or Windows XP then you should have 200 MBs of free space on your C: drive.
If you do not have enough free space you will choke Windows and it will start dumping data to your hard drive, or it will just get really, really, slow.
Use the ADD/Delete tool in the Windows Control Panel to delete unneeded programs from your drive.
You can also use Cleansweep included in Norton Utilities to clean up your drive. If you do use Cleansweep or another hard drive cleaner, do not delete shared files unless you back them up.

Use Ccleaner software for deleting temporary files.

7. Do not let a lot of programs load up when you start your computer.

They use valuable memory and Windows Resources (Windows internal workspace).
All programs in your Windows System Tray (in the lower left of your screen) are running on your computer. Close them if you don't need them or run them and configure them not to load when you boot up.
Other programs running in the background can be found by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time.

8. Do use a virus checker regularly.

Everyone should use a virus checker.

10. Keep track of the software disks you receive
Keep track of the software disks you receive with your computer and new peripherals. These disks contain valuable software drivers and programs for Windows and are needed when Windows must be reloaded. Keep these disks and your Windows software disks in a safe, dry, place -- you never know when you will need them.

I wanna be a Hacker

Yeah!
sometimes i myself felt that i want to be a hacker, when things going wrong with my pc. when everything is fine, then there is no need to learn(of course it is), but as human beings, we are all set here to learn throught out the life. When i came across some good things about hackers, i had a look at some poem, which is describing the attitude of a typical hacker.

To follow the path:
look to the master,
follow the master,
walk with the master,
see through the master,
become the master.

A an attitude of a hacker is being described by the following five points.

1. The world is full of fascinating problems waiting to be solved.
2. No problem should ever have to be solved twice.
3. Boredom and drudgery are evil.
4. Freedom is good.
5. Attitude is no substitute for competence.


There is much difference between a hacker and a cracker, hackers are for the good, and crackers are for the bad. But i think one can easily convert to cracker from hacker, when he is not obeying the laws of hacking. For those who want to become a good hacker please refer to this link as a starting point.

Microsoft Windows is the world top most operating system. Will you agree this point.
Here a great stupid this that Microsoft did.Because it used a software crack (sound forge 4.5) to build up its media player. If you won't agree my words I will prove you right now. Fallow this

Here you can see 9 media files.

Then open any file with in notepad.

Here you can see unknown fonts.

Now ctrl+f then you can see a search box to find a word.

Here type sound then type enter.
